You may wish to order additional remote controls with your electric
door opener or simply replace lost or broken remotes from existing
units. The Remocon unit is a full receiver/remote control system
so if finding the correct remote proved impossible then these can
replace the whole system.

Got Hormann Grey button remotes?
If your remote control has grey buttons this indicates that they are 40MHz
units and will not work with systems operating on the
868.3MHz blue button frequency. Only HSM4's are available on the
40MHz frequency and they cost £55 inc VAT and delivery

Autoglide MkIII Remote Controls
|
Remotes for the old Autoglide systems are no longer available - both
blue and red labels are discontinued.
If your Autoglide is still working and you feel that the unit is
working OK then consider fitting Remocon radio receiver and remotes
(below). Bear in mind that the Autoglide system typically works
for 8 years or so. If your system is getting close to this
consider replacement....
Once your Autoglide systems breaks down you'll need to replace
it. There are three options:
1. Use the door manually,
2. Rehang your door with a retractable gear set and automate with a
Hormann Promatic
3. Fit a new door

Remocon Radio Receiver and Remote Controls
|
A useful replacement system for garage door openers with very old
remotes that are no longer available. This radio receiver has
three cables that mount into the old garage door opener... 24v supply,
ground and switching. You just need to check that your opener
has a 24volt output and two connections that can be shorted out to
initiate an open/close.
